I had an epiphany once, sitting in the backseat of a friend’s car. He’d just told me that he’d only had one part-time job growing up and only two others his whole adult life.
I made a list.
At 33, I’d had 24 jobs.
I was not like Daniel. I had never been like Daniel. I would never be like Daniel.
There are lots of us out there, you know. And we’re not as flaky as you think.
You do know about the honey bee, don’t you? How many flowers it has to visit to produce just a single drop of honey? But it is worth it, wouldn’t you say? And have you heard what would happen to the world – to the human species – without the bees?
