What do you write about?
I write about silence, a simpler life, shame and self doubt. I write about being highly sensitive, about healing and about hope for a more beautiful world. I write about creativity, courage and, sometimes, Christmas. I write about birds and flowers, about loving ourselves, one another and our precious Mother Earth. And always, always I write about being yourself, trusting yourself and following your heart.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration in the small moments of my day to day life – laying the fire in the morning, tending the garden, a wandering walk in the moonlit woods. I find inspiration in the silence and the inner worlds. Sometimes I write about things that are real, other times I weave together elements of real life, real people and real places with dreams, visions, imaginings and memories.
Are we kindred spirits?
I hope so! Does your heart burst with joy and pain at the sunset? Do you long for a simpler, quieter life, closer to the Earth and her seasonal rhythms? Do you talk to the trees, love too many different things and sometimes feel responsible for solving all the world’s problems alone? Do you need an extraordinary amount of time alone, often feel weird and feel like you’re all at once too simple and too complicated for the world? If so, we may be kindred spirits and I’m glad you found your way here.
